The time has come: the new release 3.8 of the ProcSet Workflow Solution has been completed. Like every previous version, the current release is characterized by the fact that many suggestions from customers have been taken into account and functionalities have been implemented which allow an even more efficient and comfortable working method:
Acrobat integration
Users can now edit motifs in Acrobat directly from the browser via a plug-in and transfer them back to ProcSet envelope. PitStop can then be used for PDF processing.
Display of problem areas in the preview of the checked graphic
Configured warnings and errors can now also be displayed as layers in the graphic preview. Together with the test report and the softproof, these previews are also transferred to the portal component ProcSet involve and are thus available to customers and agencies for optimal feedback.
Enhancement of IS-M/AM Integration
The integration of the folder functionality in the IS-M/AM interface has been further refined so that the workflows for processing are now even simpler.
Reporting
This module has been extensively revised and allows optimal flexibility in reporting all relevant production steps. It includes configurable reporting templates for Excel, PDF and XML and the connection of standard reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
Archiving
The new version enables PDF-based folder archiving and connection to external archiving systems. All relevant folder components are packed into a PDF file, which can then be transferred to an external archiving system during the deletion runs. After retrieval from the archive, the components of the PDF can then be imported back into a folder.
