The Süddeutsche Zeitung, which is the largest national subscription daily newspaper in Germany with over 442,000 copies sold and 1.16 million readers* per day, is introducing the digital job folder ProcSet envelope as the central production component for its entire ad production.
ProcSet envelope is embedded in a system environment from SAP as a commercial ad system and PPI for pagination and planning.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung was particularly impressed by the deep IS-M/AM integration in the CIC, which enables the clerks to work in a digital workflow without media discontinuity. All work steps can be carried out within the IS-M/AM user interface. Another reason for the investment decision was the integrated checking and conversion functionalities and the possibilities of flexibly configurable workflow design.
The productive implementation of ProcSet envelope is another result of the successful cooperation between ProcSet Media Solutions and Medien Systemhaus Stuttgart.
