The publishing house Nürnberger Presse Druckhaus Nürnberg GmbH & Co. KG will use an integrated software solution from ProcSet Media Solutions in cooperation with Medien System Haus for their ad production. In a tendering process the high development status of the solution was convincing, so that ProcSet Media Solutions was able to prevail against well-known competitors.
In addition to the proven seamless integration into the Customer Interaction Center of the industry solution SAP for Media (see detailed product information), the flexible software design also played a decisive role. Using general function modules, this allows users to adapt workflows quickly to current requirements using the browser interface without any programming knowledge.
The publishing house Nürnberger Presse Druckhaus Nürnberg GmbH & Co. specializes in the production and publication of various regionally distributed print products. It is responsible for the publication of nineteen daily newspapers in northern Bavaria, with a focus on the Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen areas. In addition there are six weekly newspapers.
The group’s two leading daily newspapers are the “Nürnberger Nachrichten” and the “Nürnberger Zeitung”, which are editorially separate but have a common advertising section. Together with the local headlines (Erlanger Nachrichten, Fürther Nachrichten etc.) they have a paid circulation of 326,470 copies (quarter 1/2008) and thus dominate the northern Bavarian press market
