Customer days of the ProcSet Media Solutions: Information. Contacts. Exchange of Experience.

Berlin, July 2010: Despite the sweaty temperatures, the “ProcSet Customer Days” took place from June 24th to 25th in Berlin’s traditional hotel “Großer Kurfürst” with the active participation of customer representatives from all over Germany. From now on planned annually, these customer days serve the purpose of presenting the current status and future trends of ProcSet software development, presenting interesting projects and partners of ProcSet Media Solutions as well as organizing a lively exchange of experience between and with our customers.

News from the ProcSet world
Stefan Rost, managing director of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH, gave a good insight into the current product policy of the company in his presentation. In detail he highlighted the status quo and trends in the automated ad production with full template processing, typesetting, integration of commercial systems, archiving and reporting.

ProcSet partners introduce themselves…
The most important system and development partners of ProcSet Media Solutions introduced themselves with interesting lectures. For example, Dietrich von Seggern, Business Development Manager of callas software GmbH, informed about the current PDF standards PDF/X, PDF/A and PDF/UA.
Jörg Schiessler, Managing Director of Class Wizard GmbH, presented the advantages of the overall solution developed by both companies. In addition, the software developed between MSH Medien System Haus GmbH & Co. KG and ProcSet Media Solutions was clearly presented in various demo scenarios.

ProcSet customers and projects
With the active participation of customer representatives such as from the Axel Springer Verlag and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, current projects with ProcSet software solutions were illustrated. Nobert Höhna and Klaus Herschel from Axel Springer Verlag, for example, gave a live demonstration of the processing of full artwork via the delivery channel of the ProcSet portal involve. Special emphasis was placed here on communication between the publishing house and the customer or agency.
Last but not least, as a sincere thank you for the co-operation, we were and are also endeavouring to organise an attractive programme for ‘body and soul’ in addition to all the specialist articles. This year, we took clients and partners on a culinary boat tour on the evening Spree River in the centre of Berlin with a “Zille Buffet”.
