Release 4.0 of the ProcSet Workflow Solution has proven itself in current projects and offers new workflow functions as well as optimized control of the graphic processors responsible for checking, correcting and converting graphic and image formats. Removing the graphics processors from the application server leads to better scalability and increased performance, which is especially advantageous for large installations.
There are also a number of practical enhancements for users, such as the general session pickup with the option of calling up all the sessions of a customer and copying selected session components into the current order. Or the helpful option of assigning an owner to an order folder during defined work steps. This means, for example, that each setter can then conveniently select all the ads he or she has designed.
As in the past, Version 4.0 attaches great importance to optimal integration of third-party systems. An example of this is the REST service for folder components, which provides convenient access to order folders and integrated logo management using external design tools.
A concrete use case for this connection is the MultiCom Editor, which is used at the Magdeburger Volksstimme.
